Trap door out of counts => increase in pathing distance !

During this episode #8 legendary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IH_TrqvuXw , when the trap door ran out of counts, suddenly the zombies attacked the meat bait structure (foundations) ! rather than continuing their path on the maze.

We had several discussions if this was due to having a too long total path (above 50 blocks distance from maze entrance to meat bait); or if this was due to the pathing blocked in the U-shaped pendulum area (due to some spikes / barbed fences), or other reasons...

Two horde nights later, in the #10 of the same series https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9l3iN5YiSo , we test again, this time under control, to define why this had happened. It is now confirmed this was due to the pathing distance of >50 blocks.

I originally thought this 50 blocks pathing distance was applicable to the player leash distance, but not to the meat bait, but it appears it is the same !

Multiple Meat Bait testing !

Do you think Zombies go to the closest Meat Bait (in bird eye view), regardless of their travel distance ?

OR

Do you think Zombies go for the shortest path Meat Bait, regardless of the bird eye view distance ?

Answer in this funny video episode #43 :) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdvHdUMuq8I
