Why is it so hard to get seeds? You chop down half a forest and get 2 seeds

Try using your knife on small bushes. Seeds will rain on you.

I have not experienced this to be the case. I don't know if the game was changed or not since you posted that, but when I hit bushes with my knife, I get a single seed per bush if I'm lucky. Seeds are kind of a huge problem. I get 1-3 seeds per fully upgraded garden, 0-1 per bush/tree. Devs, please add more seeds, I feel like seeds should be super easy to get in quantity and they're used quite a lot in the game...

Yeah, since my post I've upgraded my character and my weapons. Now running around hitting bushes in 1-2 swings yields quite a lot of seeds, or rather, the same amount of seeds but much faster. I'd personally prefer that the bushes drop a few more seeds than they do, but speeding up the time it takes to harvest bushes makes all the difference.

The next problem I'm facing with seeds is sustainability of farms, but that's another matter.
